BWV 846: Prelude and Fugue in C major

C major is the first key in the “Well-Tempered Clavier” written by Johann Sebastian Bach, one of the major milestones in the human history of music. With a prelude and a fugue for each of the 12 keys (minor and major, of course), there are 48 pieces to master in the first book of this work. And for those who are able to get through all of this in less than a lifetime, there is a second book with another 48, often more complex pieces in each key…

Over the last years, I came to spend more and more time with Bach. At the moment, I try to play the first book of the Well-Tempered Clavier in order as far as possible.
